Dr. Nikkam’s PhD research is directly focused on NGO institutional sustainability and accountability frameworks. She brings this specialized expertise to organizations working at the grassroots and policy levels, helping them strengthen governance systems, improve program effectiveness, and build more sustainable financial and operational models.

With experience across organizations such as Public Affairs Centre, Grant Thornton Bharat LLP under the World Bank-funded SANKALP project, the Centre for Sustainable Development, and multiple Karnataka government welfare departments, SkillSprint Solutions understands the development sector from the inside. This enables us to design practical, mission-aligned capacity-building programs that support long-term community impact.

Working challenge

The cybersecurity field can be broken down into several different sections, the coordination of which within the organization is crucial to the success of a cybersecurity program. These sections include the following:

  • Accountability & Governance for NGOs — Frameworks for board governance, financial accountability, audit compliance, and stakeholder reporting
  • Financial Management for Development Organizations — Budgeting, fund management, financial reporting, grant compliance, and sustainability planning
  • M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation) Frameworks — Designing systems for outcome measurement, citizen feedback (CRC+), and program effectiveness assessment
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Community Mobilization — Strategies for grassroots engagement, IEC campaign design, and community mobilization
  • Women Empowerment & Gender Mainstreaming — Training for field functionaries, SHG leaders, and welfare officers on gender-responsive programming
